Bingo
Since 1987, Chinchuba has operated a weekly Bingo to raise funds for the operation of the school. Originally established by staff and parents to help offset tuition, the Bingo has had to adapt to many changes as video poker, casinos and other types of gaming emerged. But, through the perseverance and dedication of parents and staff, the Bingo has managed to continue.

Today, unlike the early years, workers are paid and the Bingo is operated much like a real business might be – with inventory, payroll, rent, and overhead. After expenses, there is still a good reason to support this event. Proceeds are now raised to ensure funds for long-range planning.

To participate in this weekly fundraiser, one must be at least 18 years of age and pass a criminal background check. The bingo for Chinchuba-KidSpeak Learning Center is held each Friday night at 7:00 p.m. at Azalea Hall in Marrero.
